Victorian Christmas

Victorian Holiday Open House

The Falls on the Colorado Museum celebrates annually with a reception hosted at a Victorian house at 603 Seventh Street, built for one of the Founding Fathers of Marble Falls and later owned by another prominent citizen and former mayor of Marble Falls. The historic home, the Christian-Matern House, had a Texas Historical Marker dedication on April 19, 1997. The home has been restored. Its owner graciously decorates it for the holidays and hosts the event with the museum inviting members and the public to attend.
