Oscar Fox
Grandson of Adolph Fuchs. Musical prodigy who went east to school. Texas Legislature honored him as the first Texan to gain nationwide recognition as a songwriter. Monument dedicated to him on 281 south on river hill, with dedication to his favorite song, "The Hills of Home."
