How can you support the museum?

Monetary Donations
The easiest way to make a cash donation is to come by the Museum and drop something in the donation churn jar. You can also give a check to the docent on duty or mail it to the address shown on the contact page. At this time there is no way to make a credit card donation or to donate on line.
Memberships
We currently offer Individual Memberships at $30/year and Family Memberships at $50/year.
Patrons
We have six patronage levels as recognized on a commemorative plaque:
Platinum: $10,000 or more
Gold: $5000
Silver: $3000
Bronze: $1000
Copper: $500
Patron: $250
Artifacts
If you have something you think might be a valuable addition to the Museum, we would love to hear about it. However, we are only prepared to accept artifacts that we are able to care for and that would appeal to our visitors, so we carefully review proposed donations before accepting them. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact the museum today!
Volunteer
The Falls on the Colorado is an all-volunteer organization committed to preserving the history of our area. Our dedication and team spirit have made it possible to create a lasting showcase for the artifacts of our past and to tell the story of our area for future generations.
We have work for most anyone who comes forward to volunteer. Some of the skills we especially need are:
Docents - to help visitors get the most out of their Museum visits
Graphics Artists - to create images and displays that illustrate historical objects and events
Writers - to document our collection and tell the story of our local history
Educators - to disseminate knowledge to future generations
Researchers - to discover new information about our past
Historians - to provide us with the benefit of their professional experience and expertise
Archaeologists/Anthropologists/Geologists - to bring scholarship and a wider understanding of objects we display
Builders - to assist with maintenance and expansion of the Museum
Gardeners - to take care of our gardens and help create naturalist exhibits
Techies - to help manage our computing, communications, data storage, and media
If you are considering volunteering, please drop by the Museum so we can discuss your interests and availability.
