Some of our Past Events
Historic Christmas Home Tour
Every December The Falls on the Colorado Museum sponsors a tour of historic homes in Marble Falls. In 2022 four 1890s-era homes participated in the event. Each homeowner opened their doors and invited visitors to tour the house while enjoying light refreshments. This annual ticketed event raises funds for the museum, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization. |
Veterans Day Program
Every November The Museum partners with the Marble Falls Rotary Club with a program honoring local veterans. The Falls on the Colorado Museum also honors our veterans throughout the entire year with curated displays of uniforms and other military memorabilia of local veterans who served in WWI, WWII, Vietnam and other conflicts. |
Quilts of Valor
In 2018, the Falls on the Colorado Museum began collaborating with the Highland Lakes Area Quilt Guild to host a recurring program, "Quilts of Valor". At this event we present local veterans with their own custom-made quilt to honor their service. |
Founders' Day Celebration
The Museum celebrates the anniversary of the town's founding in July. Adam Rankin Johnson and other organizers founded Marble Falls on July 12, 1887.

Spring Clean-Up Day
During the Spring, the Falls on the Colorado Museum has a special event to get the museum's gardens and grounds ready for the season. In past years, members of the Texas Master Naturalists, Highland Lakes Native Plant Society and Marble Falls Rotary Club have joined museum volunteers for the Spring Clean-Up Day. The event is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the outdoors while helping to beautify the museum grounds. |
