Each photo was entered into one of six categories: wildflowers that are blue, red, white, orange, yellow, and purple. Each color had two winners: a photo taken by a member of FOCM and one taken by a non-member. These photos will be the featured photo for one of the 12 months of the calendar. In addition, each category had an Honorable Mention which was a highly scored photo and which will be included in the calendar in some form. Other highly rated photos, but not winners, will also be used in the calendar where possible. Winners were determined by votes of a panel of three judges (50%) and by votes from the public (50%) who purchased tickets.
